イルミネーション入門　講座内容

中世の芸術家の道具と技術、そして天然色素の使用について学びます。 現代と伝統の技術双方を使用して、金箔や金泥、純銀を作品に適用する方法を探ります。 大理石、木の木目の背景及び布の襞の塗り方を覚えます。 文字とその背景を飾るために、アカンサスの葉のさまざまなバリエーションを練習します。 最後に、金泥、金箔の様々な仕上げ方を習います。

使用：カリグラフィーの作品の他に絵画と合わせることで絵の存在感が強調される。

Exploration of the tools and technical know-how of medieval artists as well as the use of natural pigments, precious metals and contemporary methods of gilding. The program includes the treatment of colored backgrounds, wood, marble, plain fabric folds and of acanthus letters.

Applications: excellent for enhancing texts in calligraphy and for emphasizing some aspects of painting.
