In this course students will learn the French Humanistic hand of the 16th century.
Based on the Carolingian script, this form of writing was popular with the Humanists and intellectual class of Europe.
Roman built-up capitals form the basis of decorated initials which add a touch of elegance to the page.
Applications: poems, songs, advertisement, blazons, stationery etc.
