考案した書体です。 Foundational Hand はトレーニングの一種で他の書体
を習得するための入門編です。 バランスの取りやすい小文字は様々な用途に
適しています。 文字の x-ハイトは高くないのではっきりしていて、大きな挿絵、
地図及び紋章によく合います。 新時代の書体であるファンデーショナル体用の
飾り文字は現代的な雰囲気にあふれています。

Developed by the 20th-century master calligrapher Edward Johnston
from the Carolingian style of writing, this is a basic bookhand,
noble and elegant, perfect for a wide range of projects and is good to combine with illustrations,
maps and coat of arms.
