Symbols are signs or images that represent the spirit, philosopy or beliefs of people. Some are related to nature others are abstract images. In this workshop we will study symbols visible in everyday life and learn about their meaning and use. The class project will include a text in calligraphy and a symbolic image.

Material to bring: Nibs, ink, paper, masking tape, stick glue, basic calligraphy tools, gouache, mixing tray, brushes, cutters, ruler, tracing paper, light blue pencil, graph paper, compass and tweezers.
