Title of the exhibit by Mrs. Yuko Rinoie

Vasco Núñez de Balboa was born in 1475 and passed away on January 21st of 1519.
He conducted several diplomatic missions in the
Spanish colonies and is the first European to discover the Pacific Ocean while proceeding with his fellow travellers from the land of Panama.
He reached the western shore in September of 1513.
The diary pages of his travel log were exhibited in Spanish by the best
artists of MG School.

Panel discussion

Auditorium entrance: all the pages of the travel log were reproduced in calligraphy.

Instituto Cervantes provided a Japanese translation of the Spanish pages
which were exquisitely executed by 15 top artists under the direction of MG School

The Ambassador of Spain and his wife showed great interest for the artworks.
